Instructions and Guidelines for POSTER Presentation

Posters should be on A0 size paper (width 90 cm x height 120 cm).

The assigned poster board size will allow sufficient space on the board for the[optional] display of supplemental handouts, and business cards, if desired.

Posters must be designed and presented VERTICALLY.

You or your co-authors are responsible for affixing the poster to the panels provided at the conference center.

The poster area is located in the West Wing of the Zentralklinik (directly above the trade exhibition area and near the PET Center (“PET-Zentrum”), just a short distance away from the Conference Hall Station 33.

Material to affix the posters will be provided.

The posters must be mounted on Thursday, June 23 between 5 and 7 p.m. or on Friday morning, June 24, 2011 between 7:15 and 8:15 a.m.

Each poster panel will be labeled with a poster number corresponding to your abstract number provided in the abstract book and in the list attached. The poster should contain the title of the corresponding paper, the authors, institution and the institution’s location and country of origin.

Avoid colour combinations which are difficult to read.

The aims of the study, the question to be asked or the hypothesis to be tested should be clearly stated.

Outline your methods briefly. Provide detailsonly for new methods or important modifications of older ones.

Results should be presented as graphs or charts. Provide a legend to explain symbols or other details. You may also wantto provide an interpretation of the results below each panel.

The conclusions should be succinctly stated. Many viewers read this first, hence it should be easy to understand.
